The joint Israel-Jordan committee for Security and Transportation, convened in the Jordan Valley Regional Council to discuss progress on the Jordan Gate project — an industrial district slated for construction about four miles south of the Jordan River Crossing.
The Deputy Minister for Regional Cooperation MK Ayub Kara, said: “This is an important milestone in advancing an economic project of such broad scope, that will provide employment and development for the people of Israel, Jordan and the entire region.”
