Terrorist Stabbing On Highway 443
A 26-year-old Israeli man was stabbed by a terrorist as he was fueling his car at a gas station on Highway 443 near Yerushalayim on Sunday.
B’chasdei Shamayim, the man was not seriously wounded. He was treated at the scene by IDF and MDA paramedics and then evacuated to a hospital where he was reported in light condition.
IDF soldiers shot and killed one suspect at the scene and a search was under way for three or four others who might have been implicated in the attack.
MDA paramedic Inbal Waverman told Arutz Sheva that “when we arrived at the checkpoint, we saw a [young] man with stabbing signs on his upper body being treated by military medical forces.”
“He told us that he was stabbed while fueling his car,” she said. “We gave him medical treatment at the scene and evacuated him in light condition to a hospital in Yerushalayim.”
The incident occurred at the Dor Alon gas station on Highway 443, which runs from Lod to Modi’in in central Israel between Tel Aviv and Yerushalayim.
