De Blasio to Visit France to Honor Terror Victims

NEW YORK (AP) —

Mayor Bill de Blasio will make a whirlwind visit to France on Tuesday to honor the victims who died in terror attacks earlier this month.

The mayor will meet with French officials and members of the Jewish community. He will also lay a wreath at the site of the Charlie Hebdo offices with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

The three days of terror attacks that began Jan. 7 in Paris left 17 victims and three terrorists dead.

De Blasio will return to New York on Tuesday night.
