Sprint’s Boost Mobile Promotion Doubles Data and Cuts Price

(The Kansas City Star/MCT) —

Sprint’s month-to-month service Boost Mobile is dropping its prices and doubling its data allowances in a promotion.

Boost’s deal follows the double-the-data pricing strategy that the wireless company announced last month for its Sprint brand family plans.

It includes a $5-a-month cut in the price of Boost’s various plans.

The most expensive offering costs $55 a month and provides 10 gigabytes of data, which smartphones consume when they stream music, download apps and perform other tasks.

The Boost promotion starts Wednesday and runs through Nov. 3. Sprint said the offer is available to new and existing customers.

Customers who sign up will maintain the lower price and double data allocation as long as they keep their accounts active.
