IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and other high-ranking military and civilian leaders are also expected to testify in the coming weeks.

The committee is also expected to publish an interim report in January 2015 — which means it will coincide with the annual budget negotiations, usually a time of fierce debate.
