Trenton to Pay $75K for Late Death Notification
Trenton has agreed to pay $75,000 to settle a lawsuit after it took police 19 months to notify a woman that her daughter was dead, The Times of Trenton reported. Linda Ramsey reported her 21-year-old daughter, Amber, missing in February 2006. Trenton police found her body six months later but didn’t inform her mother until March 2008.
