NJ Schoolkid Wins National Scrabble Championship

Two eighth graders paired to win the National School Scrabble championship and a $10,000 grand prize Saturday, the Providence Journal reported. Thomas Draper of N.J. and Jacob Sass of Texas play Scrabble online but met in person for the first time at the tournament, which was attended by more than 100 middle-school Scrabble players from the U.S. and Canada.
