Palestinian Stabs Chareidi Man in Petach Tikvah
A chareidi man was stabbed and moderately wounded in a terrorist attack in Petach Tikvah on Sunday.
The assailant leapt out at a group of chareidim walking along Jabotinsky Street in Petach Tikvah next to the Geha interchange, police said.
A 34-year-old Palestinian from Shechem confessed to the crime, saying it was an act of revenge against Israel and its security forces. He is due to appear before the Petach Tikvah Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
However, Petach Tikvah police arrested more suspects before dawn Monday who are alleged to have been involved in the stabbing.
The victim was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah for emergency treatment.
