New ‘Green Bank’ Seeks Energy Efficiency Ideas
A new state program to boost private sector financing for energy efficiency projects is seeking proposals, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced. The New York Green Bank’s initial capitalization of $210 million will fund projects including solar, wind and other renewable technologies. Also eligible are residential and commercial energy efficiency projects, on-site clean generation, and electricity load reduction.
