NYC Unveils Interactive Map of Major Crimes
New York City on Sunday began offering a new way of looking at the city’s crime data — on an interactive map. It lets people see basic data on the incidence of seven major crimes, by address, ZIP code or precinct. They include murder, robbery and some property crimes, such as burglary. The map fulfills a law passed this spring.
