11 Injured, 4 Critically, in Brooklyn Fire

NEW YORK (AP) —

Authorities say 11 people have been injured, four of them critically, in a Brooklyn residential fire.

The fire was reported around 9:15 a.m. Thursday in a three-story brownstone on Chauncey Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

CBS New York says firefighters had to use saws to cut through bars on some of the windows.

Adults, children and animals were rescued. None of the critically injured are children.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
