Palestinian Stabs Jewish Youth in Shomron
A Palestinian man stabbed and moderately wounded a 17-year-old Jewish boy at the Tapuach Junction in the Shomron, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The suspected assailant was arrested on Tuesday after Border Police officers identified the Ramallah resident.
The suspect admitted to the stabbing, saying that he chose his victim because he was Jewish, police said.
MDA paramedics treated the victim on the scene before evacuating him to Rabin Medical Center – Beilinson Campus in Petach Tikva.
Following the stabbing Shomron Citizens’ Committee head Benny Katzover called on the IDF to implement a more vigorous policy against terrorism and called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to respond with more construction plans for Yehudah and Shomron.
